On the 18th, Hwang Bo-ra posted on her Instagram story, "I really hate traveling with TJ," along with a photo.
The photo showed a thumbnail from her YouTube channel, suggesting she uploaded a video. The thumbnail read, 'Is the holiday exhausting?' and Hwang appeared teary-eyed, hinting at a mismatch in travel styles with her companion.
Previously, on the 11th, Hwang uploaded a promotional video for a group purchase of macadamia nuts on her Instagram.
In the video, Hwang appeared to scream as if she had a sudden accident while driving at night. She then laughed and asked, "Want some macadamia?" promoting the nut product. She added phrases like "Perfect snack with beer" and "Ideal diet snack."
However, the lack of connection between the car accident and the product led to criticism of the inappropriate promotional method. Additionally, given Hwang's past DUI incident in 2007, the promotion was deemed reckless.
In response, Hwang issued an apology and deleted the entire macadamia video on the same day.
Meanwhile, Hwang Bo-ra married Cha Hyun-woo, an actor and film producer, in 2022. Cha is the son of actor Kim Yong-gun and the brother of actor Ha Jung-woo. After a long struggle with infertility, Hwang succeeded in her fourth IVF attempt and welcomed her son, Woo-in, in May 2024.
