On the 18th, Kim posted on her Instagram story, expressing her wish to have a better command of English, accompanied by a photo.
The photo shows Kim with a Korean document open on her laptop. She lamented, "Being a humanities student abroad is tough," and added, "I hit the limits of my English every day. When my English falls short, so does my thinking," highlighting her ongoing language challenges.
She further mentioned, "Even when reading children's English storybooks, I encounter unfamiliar words," and admitted, "I only feel sharp when using Korean," reflecting on her perceived limited vocabulary.
Kim, now 28, made headlines in 2018 as the youngest announcer to join SBS through their 24th open recruitment. She unexpectedly resigned after three years and married a prosecutor five years her senior in 2022.
Last year, Kim was accepted into UCLA Law School and is currently balancing her studies and parenting with the support of her husband.
