Rapper Sleepy has revealed why he entrusts his event earnings to his wife.
On the 15th, the YouTube channel 'Kwangsan Kim Family' released a video titled 'How Comfortable Do Celebrity Dads Live?'.
In the video, Kim Seung-hyun met rapper Sleepy, who is now a father of two. Sleepy, who has been appearing on '6 O'Clock My Hometown' for over two years, greeted viewers with his signature line, "I fill your refrigerators to the brim. I also fill your hearts with love."
Sleepy is a father to a daughter and a son. Kim Seung-hyun expressed envy, saying, "They say having a daughter first is worth 200 points." Sleepy shared, "My wife got pregnant again just three months after giving birth, so we are raising children born close together."
Kim Seung-hyun, who is raising his 18-month-old daughter Ri-yoon, asked, "People say the second child is easier because of the experience. I even considered having a third. Is raising the second child easier?"
Sleepy responded, "I now understand why people say they feel sorry for the second child. When the first child smiles or catches a ball, it's a big deal, but the reaction is less for the second child doing the same. I haven't even posted about the second child on social media yet. We don't even rush to the emergency room with the second child."
Kim Seung-hyun, who recently argued with his wife over parenting, shared, "When our child scatters toys, I tend to clean up little by little, but my wife says it's not good for the child's emotional development and tells me to leave it. We fought over that."
Sleepy commented, "Parenting arguments? I don't fight; I just get scolded and do as I'm told. We men might express our feelings once, but women carry the baby, endure morning sickness, lose hair, and have skin issues from childbirth. I want to do my best in parenting, but I don't know much. However, I end up covered in baby food," emphasizing his dedication as a father.
"Having a child motivates me to work harder on location shoots," Sleepy said. "I'm grateful to work every week because of my child. I don't have a company, so I just check emails. If I get an offer, I take it immediately. Even though I'm a rapper, I don't shy away from lectures, trot, wedding songs, or hosting."
Sleepy stated, "I transparently entrust my event earnings to my wife. I used to handle it less transparently, but I can't save money. My fortune says money disappears, so as soon as it comes in, I put it into my wife's account."
Sleepy added, "These days, I thank my wife for living with me, for marrying me, and I tell her I love her. She appreciates it," showcasing his loving side.
Meanwhile, Sleepy married Kim Na-hyun, an office worker eight years his junior, in April 2022, and they have a son and a daughter.
