KwakTube, who married a government employee five years his junior last October and is expecting a son in March, has issued an apology.
On the 18th episode of 'Jeon Hyun-moo Plan 3' aired on the 13th, Jeon Hyun-moo, KwakTube (Kwak Jun-bin), and god members Son Ho-young, Danny Ahn, and Kim Tae-woo embarked on a culinary trip to Uiwang and Gwacheon, exploring 'Hidden Tastes of Gyeonggi-do Part 2'. They visited a red bean specialty restaurant in Uiwang, a famous 'Budae Jjigae + Jokbal' spot in Gwacheon, and a trendy 'Gamack House' popular among the MZ generation, showcasing a packed mukbang and excellent entertainment chemistry.
Jeon Hyun-moo introduced the first meal as a 'must-visit spot for those coming to Cheonggyesan', choosing 'red bean dishes'. KwakTube confessed, "I don't usually eat red beans," revealing his 'anti-red bean' taste, creating tension from the start. However, after tasting the restaurant's signature red bean kalguksu and red bean ongshimi, he exclaimed, "This is a real kick. Number one in Korea," showing a 'Eureka' reaction, while Jeon Hyun-moo smiled with satisfaction.
After the meal, KwakTube asked, "Can I take some red beans home since we don't have any at our newlywed house?" Jeon Hyun-moo jokingly replied, "Isn't your house 150 pyeong? Or is it 130 pyeong?" KwakTube, flustered, waved his hands, and Jeon Hyun-moo reminisced, "I used to show off my skills with chopstick games using red beans."
The production team revealed, "There are many comments saying KwakTube can't use chopsticks," to which KwakTube responded, "I need to fix that. I can't be a dad who can't use chopsticks," and issued an apology, promising to practice more.
Jeon Hyun-moo then teased, "Today's 'eating friend' is a national idol," giving a dance hint. However, KwakTube mistakenly greeted the three god members with "Nice to meet you, H.O.T.," leading to laughter. Son Ho-young responded, "H.O.T. is indeed the national idol~ we were fans too," and Kim Tae-woo added, "god was just the nation," causing an uproar.
Amidst laughter from the first meeting, they headed to a famous Budae Jjigae + Jokbal restaurant in Gwacheon. Son Ho-young, a 'foodie', tasted the jokbal made with 'seed soy sauce' that hadn't been discarded for 38 years, and expressed genuine joy, saying, "It's been a while since I felt this happy." Jeon Hyun-moo marveled, "You eat so much, yet you don't change. It's almost like you're preserved," to which Son Ho-young shared his secret of maintaining his youthful appearance, "I've been managing myself since long ago." Danny Ahn commented, "Hyun-moo hyung is a year older than me, but if you look closely, he's youthful too," to which Jeon Hyun-moo humorously replied, "Then, am I actually old-looking?"
The conversation naturally shifted to marriage. Jeon Hyun-moo asked, "Tae-woo, didn't you tell Ho-young not to get married?" Kim Tae-woo explained, "It was for god's popularity. I want him to remain the fans' oppa forever." Danny Ahn retorted, "That's a curse," and Kim Tae-woo tried to recover, "Danny hyung would seem stable if he got married." However, Danny Ahn insightfully remarked, "He doesn't care whether I get married or not," bringing more laughter. As they added Budae Jjigae to the jokbal, Son Ho-young's mukbang gained momentum.
Jeon Hyun-moo, surprised by Son Ho-young's appetite, remarked, "You eat the most among the five of us," to which Danny Ahn quipped, "I've been eating too, but maybe I'm too thin to be noticed." Kim Tae-woo delivered a 'critical hit', "It's not that you're unnoticed, it's just that you're not newsworthy," completing their brotherly chaotic chemistry.
After enjoying Gwacheon's signature Budae Jjigae and Jokbal, Jeon Hyun-moo, calling himself the 'MZ Navigator', led everyone to a trendy Gamack House, a 53-year-old supermarket turned into a stylish bar. Kim Tae-woo suddenly announced he needed to use the restroom, prompting Son Ho-young to complain, "You always go to the restroom on set." Danny Ahn tried to calm him, but Son Ho-young retorted, "Are we supposed to shoot while you go to the restroom?" Kim Tae-woo, with a playful tone, said, "Speak gently," but Son Ho-young pressed on, "How are we supposed to shoot?"
After Kim Tae-woo returned from the restroom, they continued their mukbang with a feast of gosari samgyeopsal, shrimp pancakes, minari beef stew, and gwamegi, paired with makpuchino (makgeolli + milk). As the meal progressed, Jeon Hyun-moo asked, "god has many hit songs, which one is your favorite?" Kim Tae-woo replied, "I like 'Road'." Jeon Hyun-moo reminisced, "'Road' was the song I listened to after failing to get into MBC because of Oh Sang-jin. It really healed me during tough times."
The god members shared their future plans, expressing a desire to showcase the originality of first-generation idols through activities like a world tour and performing at 'Coachella'.
