Korean rapper Nucksal has announced his consideration of retirement.
On the November 11th episode of MBC's variety show 'Radio Star', episode 952, Nucksal appeared as a guest alongside Lee Dong-jin, Ahn Hyun-mo, and Gwaydo.
Nucksal, who married a non-celebrity six years his junior in 2022, welcomed his first son in February 2023 and his second son in October last year. Now a father of two, Nucksal shared, "Raising the first child was easy. He would sleep right after being fed. I thought it was manageable, so we decided to have another. But the second one was different," he revealed.
He continued, "The second child had a heart issue and underwent surgery. He returned healthy but is very sensitive, unlike the first. He can't sleep, so we're like zombies every day. We take turns with childcare, but even when sleeping separately, we wake up when the baby cries," he explained.
Despite planning to work hard for his children, Nucksal surprised everyone by revealing he is reconsidering retirement. He said, "I want to quit everything. I want to be rich and enjoy life." When asked if he would stop making music, Nucksal replied, "I'm not doing it now either. You might not know, but that's my personality," he added.
When asked about his retirement fund, he jokingly suggested, "40 billion? How about 50 billion? 60 billion?" and explained, "Considering inflation rates." He also quipped, "My wife has to work. Work is good for mental health."
Nucksal described his YouTube activities as a rehearsal for life after retirement, saying, "It's like living how I would after retiring."
