On the recent episode of tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block,' Korea's first-generation profiler Kwon Il-yong shared unexpected occupational hazards of being a profiler.
The episode, aired on the 11th, featured Kwon Il-yong and Pyo Chang-won, who are considered living legends in the field of profiling.
During the show, host Yoo Jae-suk asked Kwon and Pyo about the occupational hazards of being a profiler. Pyo Chang-won explained, "Occupational hazards are often not recognized by oneself but pointed out by others."
He confessed, "Since my days as a police university professor, I tend to drive slowly when I see a child or a woman walking ahead, keeping a certain distance. My wife and kids often ask why I'm not moving, and it's because I'm subconsciously cautious about the presence of an adult male nearby."
The show also humorously highlighted the occupational hazards of a soccer player. Kwon shared, "Ahn Jung-hwan, who I've worked with for a long time, gets startled when someone approaches with something like a charcoal grill at a restaurant. He's so used to being tackled from behind on the field."
