The film 'Humint' has finally been unveiled today (11th).
According to the Korean Film Council's integrated computer network for movie tickets, 'Humint' (directed by Ryoo Seung-wan) recorded a pre-sale of 193,771 tickets (38.4%) as of 7 a.m. today, setting a new record for the highest pre-sales among this year's releases. It has maintained the number one spot in overall movie reservations for five consecutive days since last Sunday.
'Humint' is a spy action film set in Vladivostok, where secrets and truths are submerged in the icy sea, and individuals with different objectives clash. It is the third installment in director Ryoo Seung-wan's overseas location trilogy, following 'The Berlin File' (2013) and 'Escape from Mogadishu' (2021).
Meanwhile, the audience rating for 'Humint' on Naver stands at an impressive 9.67 as of the 11th. Viewers have expressed enthusiastic reactions, saying, "A masterpiece for 2026 has arrived," "Park Jung-min's melodrama perseverance wins," "The most immersive and action-packed Korean film I've seen recently," "I took a half-day off to watch it in the theater after a long time. To truly enjoy the film's action, I recommend watching it in theaters," and "It's been a while since I've been so focused on a Korean film without any humor."
