From February 2nd to 8th, TenAsia conducted a poll asking, 'Which female singer would you like to go skiing with before the snow melts?' Wendy emerged as the top choice. She recently released 'My Everything,' Part 5 of the OST for SBS's weekend drama 'I'm Human From Today,' on February 7th. The song captures the excitement and fear of 'Eun-ho' (played by Kim Hye-yoon), who vowed not to fall in love with a human, through Wendy's unique restrained emotion. Her powerful vocals add depth to the emotional melody, conveying sincerity towards one person.
In second place is Girls' Generation's Yuri. The international relief and development NGO, Hope Friend Korea Food for the Hungry International, announced on January 28th that they received a portion of the proceeds from a fan meeting ticket sale from Kwon Yuri, a member of Girls' Generation and actress. This donation was part of her third fan meeting tour. The funds will be used to support children and youth in need in Asia tour locations such as Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, Taipei, and Seoul. The organization plans to continue its support in conjunction with local child self-reliance support projects.
Chaeyeon took third place. She left WM Entertainment, where she had been for a long time, and signed an exclusive contract with DOD in December last year. DOD released three profile images, stating, "We have signed an exclusive contract with Chaeyeon, who has diverse charms," and "We will provide full support so that Chaeyeon can fully showcase her outstanding capabilities and continue her unique activities."
Chaeyeon debuted as part of the project girl group IZ*ONE, formed through Mnet's 'Produce 48' in 2018, and gained much love from K-pop fans for her excellent dance skills and stage presence. She later released several hit songs as a solo artist, such as 'HUSH RUSH' and 'KNOCK,' earning the title 'Performance Queen.'
