Comedian Lee Eun-hyung recently shared amusing anecdotes about her son, who bears a striking resemblance to his father.
On October 10, the YouTube channel 'Hwang Bo-ra Variety' released a video titled 'Lee Eun-hyung vs. Hwang Bo-ra: Hoping Our Sons Become Friends | True Friends Co-parenting, Double the Sons Event.'
In the video, Hwang Bo-ra teamed up with the couple Kang Jae-joon and Lee Eun-hyung for a co-parenting challenge. Hwang Bo-ra's 20-month-old son, Woo-in, and Lee Eun-hyung's 17-month-old son, Hyun-jo, displayed contrasting personalities at a kids' cafe, capturing viewers' attention.
When Hyun-jo had his toy car taken by Woo-in, he burst into tears. Lee Eun-hyung comforted him, saying, "He's used to playing alone at home, so this is a new experience for him." The doting mom humorously switched gears in front of the camera, instructing her son, "Hyun-jo, don't turn your back to the camera," prompting laughter.
Unlike the cautious and timid Hyun-jo, Woo-in was more active and playful. Hwang Bo-ra commented, "My child is very energetic and can't sit still for even a second."
During a session with an expert, when the children didn't listen, Lee Eun-hyung jokingly asked, "Don't you feel like having a beer, teacher?" The teacher humorously admitted, "I'll have some acorn jelly at home," but advised, "It's best not to force them to do things they dislike."
Despite their different temperaments, both children were deemed to be within the normal range by the expert. When Lee Eun-hyung expressed concern about her son's delayed speech, Hwang Bo-ra reassured her, "We went through the same thing. It's a relief to know our kids are growing up normally."
Lee Eun-hyung shared, "He didn't used to say 'mom,' but today he said it a lot. My son said 'dad' first." When Hwang Bo-ra remarked, "You must have felt a bit left out," Lee Eun-hyung humorously replied, "I figured it was because they look so alike."
She added, "Hyun-jo really takes after his dad. These days, he doesn't eat well and only wants meat and fish. Jae-joon is a meat lover. And he even tried to sip our beer. He was licking the beer can we were drinking from."
Sharing concerns about 'media exposure,' Hwang Bo-ra and Lee Eun-hyung joked, "Next time, let's leave the kids with Kim Jun-ho and Kim Ji-min and let them handle it while we enjoy some beer," sparking anticipation.
