Jung Ji-sun, known as the 'Queen of Dim Sum,' delighted fans with amusing tales of her early office romance with husband Lee Yong-woo, in front of her mentor, the renowned Chinese chef Yeo Kyung-ok.
On her YouTube channel 'Jung Ji-sun's Knife Skills,' a video titled 'Ta-da! Jung Ji-sun's Golden Days Revealed for the First Time' was uploaded.
In the video, Yeo Kyung-ok, who is also the younger brother of Yeo Kyung-rae, reminisced about Jung Ji-sun's early days as a novice chef. Jung recalled her time working at Yeo's restaurant, where she first met her husband, Lee Yong-woo, who was a floor staff member at the time.
Yeo Kyung-ok shared a pivotal moment when Jung was unwell and needed to leave work early. He instructed Lee to take her home by taxi, unknowingly setting the stage for their relationship. Jung, caught off guard, humorously pretended not to remember, causing laughter.
Yeo recalled that Lee was quite popular among female staff, and he had no idea about Jung and Lee's secret romance.
When asked about office romances, Yeo expressed that he respects personal choices and sees no reason to oppose them. However, Jung humorously stated that she is now strongly against office romances.
Yeo then revealed his own secret office marriage after six years of keeping it hidden, playfully challenging Jung's contradictory stance.
Despite Yeo's sharp revelations, Jung shared the intense efforts she made to keep their relationship a secret, sweating nervously throughout the conversation.
Yeo remarked on Jung's ability to conceal her romance, expressing surprise at her thoroughness. The playful banter between mentor and mentee provided viewers with fresh entertainment.
