During the broadcast, Kim Seung-soo revealed that he once came close to death due to shingles. He shared, "I had just returned from a business trip to China and had overexerted myself," setting the stage for his story.

It turned out that the shingles virus had spread acutely. "Half of my face was covered in blisters. It felt like my face was being scratched with a fork. Even staying still, I couldn't help but groan in pain," he recalled the excruciating experience.

Rushing to the hospital, Kim Seung-soo was informed, "If the shingles virus reaches the brain, it can cause paralysis, and if it invades the eyes, it can lead to blindness. It paralyzes the function of the area it invades. The doctor said it seemed to have reached my cornea, so I spent 15 days bedridden," he explained.

Reflecting on the painful ordeal, he admitted, "It made me reevaluate my life. I was complacent about my health, and it was a significant wake-up call."
