A historic showdown is set to take place between Choi Tae-sung and Seol Min-seok.
On today's episode (5th) of JTBC's 'Lecture Battle Show: The Historians' (hereafter referred to as 'The Historians'), the first-ever battle featuring the 'Four Kings of Korean History'—Choi Tae-sung, Seol Min-seok, Shim Yong-hwan, and Lee Da-ji—will unfold.
The most anticipated appearance is that of Seol Min-seok, who has been a leading figure in popularizing Korean history. For over 30 years, Seol Min-seok and Choi Tae-sung have been considered formidable rivals in Korean history, and they will appear together on 'The Historians' for the first time. The unexpected pairing left MC Kang Ji-young in awe, exclaiming, “It’s a clash of worlds.”
Choi Tae-sung, who has been a cornerstone of 'The Historians' and a leading figure in Korean history, was also surprised by Seol Min-seok's appearance. Although it was their first meeting, Choi expressed his delight but also questioned, “Is there really a reason for you to be here?” This competitive spirit filled the studio with excitement. The first meeting of these historical titans is highly anticipated.
As the lecture battle begins, neither side is willing to concede an inch, showcasing intense competitiveness. Seol Min-seok particularly drew attention with his bold statement, “I came to expose.” Alongside Seol and Choi, 'Korean History Master' Shim Yong-hwan and 'Top History Instructor for Students' Lee Da-ji join the fray, promising an unprecedented big match.
The 'Four Kings of Korean History Special' will air tonight (5th) at 8:50 PM on JTBC's 'Lecture Battle Show: The Historians'.
