The final film of the late Kim Sae-ron, 'Everyday We,' has released new stills, capturing the essence of a chaotic yet exciting teenage romance.
Set in the whirlwind of being seventeen, 'Everyday We' begins with an unexpected confession from a childhood friend, encapsulating the unique thrill and anticipation of youth. Unlike the high-teen romances from Japan, Taiwan, or Hollywood, this K-teen romance reflects the authentic school life of Korean youth, resonating deeply with audiences and sparking the hope for movie-like moments in their own lives. 'Everyday We' is set to hit theaters this March, coinciding with the start of the new school year.
The released stills capture the everyday life of high school students 'Hosoo' and 'Yeoul,' highlighting the hidden excitement within. One image shows 'Yeoul' caught in a sudden downpour, using her school jacket as a makeshift umbrella, a relatable moment that evokes both empathy and laughter. Another still features 'Yeoul' enjoying a lively conversation with friends during a break, stirring anticipation for the new friendships and experiences awaiting students in the new semester.
