Lee Sang-min has shared his thoughts on the cancellation of 'Dolsing Fourmen'.
On the 2nd, the production presentation for SBS's new variety show 'Ahnigunjeon' was broadcast online. The event was attended by Tak Jae-hoon, Lee Sang-min, Lee Soo-ji, and EXO's Kai. 'Ahnigunjeon' is a character talk show that breaks the traditional talk show mold by incorporating a unique universe and characters.
The show is planned by Kwak Seung-young CP, known for 'My Little Old Boy' and 'My Turn', and directed by Seo Ha-yeon PD, who previously directed 'Dolsing Fourmen'. 'Dolsing Fourmen' was a long-running talk show on SBS but faced criticism for losing its original intent after Kim Jun-ho and Lee Sang-min remarried last year. This led to public calls for their departure, and the show was eventually canceled at the end of last year.
Lee Sang-min, who was the recipient of the '2025 SBS Entertainment Awards' Grand Prize, said he accepted the offer to join the new show without hesitation. He stated, "There was no need to think twice. The writers and CP from 'My Little Old Boy' and the production team from 'Dolsing Fourmen' are behind this show. Finding the intersection between skits and talk seemed fun and new." He added, "I wondered why they included me. Perhaps they wanted me to give my best since it's a program SBS is focusing on, especially after awarding me last year."
Regarding his re-employment, he expressed gratitude, saying, "I'm very thankful. I got fired from 'Dolsing Fourmen' right after getting married last year. I felt sorry because it was my fault, but now that I'm re-employed, I have something to say to my wife."
Lee Sang-min humorously mentioned, "Every week is tough. Tak Jae-hoon jokes that 'Dolsing Fourmen' ended because of me. He asks if this program will end because of me too." Tak Jae-hoon replied, "This program won't end. You might disappear. You're too optimistic, and it upsets me," adding a playful banter.
When asked to send a video message to Kim Jun-ho and Lim Won-hee, who haven't found new employment, Lee Sang-min said, "Lim Won-hee is doing great on 'My Little Old Boy'. Kim Jun-ho is active on YouTube with his wife, Kim Ji-min." Tak Jae-hoon humorously disagreed, saying, "They're not that active."
'Ahnigunjeon' premieres on the 2nd at 10:10 PM.
