On the latest episode of SBS's variety show 'My Ugly Duckling', aired on the 1st, Bae Jung-nam revealed details about his last relationship.
The episode featured a trip to Kazakhstan with Bae Jung-nam and his friends Lee Sung-min, Kim Jong-soo, and Kim Sung-kyun, celebrating their 10-year friendship.
Upon arriving in Kazakhstan, Bae Jung-nam was seen making a mysterious phone call to a woman. Lee Sung-min teased, "Jung-nam is talking to a woman right now," but Bae Jung-nam calmly ended the call with a gentle voice, saying, "I arrived safely. It's four hours earlier than Korea."
The woman on the other end of the call turned out to be Lee Sung-min's wife. Upon realizing this, Lee Sung-min humorously remarked, "Even I don't call her, but you do?" Bae Jung-nam replied, "Since you don't, I do. She's the top priority," causing laughter among the group.
During the conversation, Kim Jong-soo asked Lee Sung-min about his solo month-long stay in Gangwon Province two years ago. Lee Sung-min shared, "I just rested well by myself."
The focus then shifted to Bae Jung-nam, with questions about his last romantic relationship. He confessed, "Early last year, I dated someone for about 2-3 months. She was a company employee, seven years younger than me." Kim Sung-kyun commented, "That sounds more like a fling," to which Bae Jung-nam nodded in agreement.
When asked about marriage, Bae Jung-nam admitted, "I recently attended Kim Woo-bin and Shin Min-a's wedding, and it made me want to get married." Kim Jong-soo, a 61-year-old bachelor, empathized, saying, "You want to start a family," but humorously added, "I'm just focusing on my acting."
Meanwhile, Bae Jung-nam shared a heartfelt moment about his pet dog, Bell, who passed away last September due to a sudden heart attack. Bell had suffered from spinal disease and underwent cancer surgery. Bae Jung-nam affectionately referred to Bell as his 'daughter'.
