Son Jong-won (41) showcases a surprising and sexy mukbang.
On the evening of the 1st at 9 PM, JTBC's variety show 'Please Take Care of My Refrigerator' features a 15-minute cooking battle using the refrigerator of 'Michelin Two-Star Chef' Son Jong-won.
In the first showdown, 'Twin Brothers' Yoon Nam-no and Kwon Sung-joon face off. Breaking away from the 'Ban Neujoh Alliance,' both declare themselves fans of Son Jong-won, donning his apron and mimicking his every move. Kwon Sung-joon attempts to surpass Son's signature 'Twin Knife' performance with a 'Three-Sword' act, but hilariously loses control of the ingredients. Yoon Nam-no pays homage to Son's restaurant menu and perfectly replicates his signature eye smile, asking, "Was the meal to your liking?" and instantly lighting up the room.
Son Jong-won then shares an unexpected difficulty. Sitting as a guest for the first time, he expresses, "I've always been the one cooking, so receiving a meal made for me is truly touching." After tasting both dishes, he showers them with praise, saying, "I feel like giving away my stars," showing his kind-hearted nature and difficulty in choosing a winner.
The next battle features Jung Ho-young and Kim Poong, who compete with the theme of 'Unleashed Eating for Son Jong-won.' Jung Ho-young, feeling the pressure of Kim Poong's previous support from Son, remarks, "It's like wearing sandbags." Kim Poong, too, admits, "I feel like I'm carrying lead weights," adding to the intrigue.
The two chefs employ completely different strategies to win over Son's palate. Jung Ho-young uses Son's favorite food information to predict a binge-eating session, prompting fellow chefs to exclaim, "The visuals are insane," and "This can't possibly taste bad." Meanwhile, Kim Poong abandons shortcuts for a traditional cooking approach, but his initial fumbling draws concerned advice. Despite the challenges, Kim Poong declares, "I can do it for Son Jong-won!" sparking curiosity about whether his classic dish will win Son's favor.
Son Jong-won's tasting reactions are a highlight. Upon tasting the first dish, he declares, "I need to unleash and eat this," loosening his bow tie and shirt buttons for a full-fledged mukbang. As he continues tasting, he jokes, "I've already loosened my bow tie, so I might as well loosen something else," unbuttoning his suit and cleaning his plate with gusto. Anticipation builds over which chef's dish led even the self-disciplined Son Jong-won to let loose.
