Hwang Jae-gyun (38) is set to prove his mettle as he embarks on a new journey as an entertainer.

The recently retired professional baseball player will appear on 'Yes Man'.

Since his retirement, Hwang has showcased his witty charm and natural flair for entertainment on various variety shows. He expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "'Yes Man' is a program where athletes from different sports compete, and I want to demonstrate my prowess as a baseball player." He also added, "Look forward to the synergy with baseball legend Yoon Seok-min," sharing his excitement about the show.



'Yes Man' is a survival-style variety show where legendary sports stars from South Korea test their entertainment skills. Each episode involves talk segments and missions that are scored, with the lowest scorer being restricted from appearing in the next episode, adding to the tension. Hwang Jae-gyun's performance will air in February.

Hwang Jae-gyun married T-ara's Jiyeon in 2022, faced multiple rumors of separation and divorce, and eventually divorced in October 2024. He announced his retirement from baseball in December 2025.
