Shin Jung-hwan Reflects on Marriage Amidst Ghostly Tales on 'Mystery Club Record'

Shin Jung-hwan expresses gratitude for his decision to marry.

On the upcoming episode of Comedy TV's ghost story talk show 'Mystery Club Record,' airing at midnight on the 31st, the theme will revolve around the deeply rooted tales of 'maiden and bachelor ghosts.' The episode promises to unveil a variety of stories, from the poignant love stories of these ghosts to the bizarre romantic tales of solo ghosts.

An unexpected 'guest' made an appearance in the studio, leaving the hosts in shock. A 43-year veteran shaman, who sensed an eerie presence from the start of the recording, claimed to have seen a ghost. This left the two hosts in a state of panic. The identity of the ghost that froze the studio and the future fate of 'Mystery Club Record' as revealed by the ghost will be disclosed during the broadcast.

The episode will also delve into the marriage customs of ghosts, revealing their complex spiritual marriage laws. Upon learning about these intricate procedures, Shin Jung-hwan remarked, "I'm really glad I got married while I was alive," expressing his surprise at the complicated nature of ghost marriages.

In one of the stories, a maiden ghost's preference for a tofu-like face resembling Park Young-jin was mentioned, to which Park humorously responded, "These days, soft tofu faces are in trend, but I'm more of a firm tofu face," using self-deprecating humor to defuse the situation.

Meanwhile, Shin Jung-hwan was sentenced to eight months in prison for overseas gambling charges in 2010 and was paroled in December 2011 after serving six months. He later married a woman 12 years his junior in 2014, and they have a son together.
