The 742nd episode of KBS2's 'Immortal Songs', airing on the 31st, will feature the '2026 Oh My Star' special.
The 'Oh My Star' special, an original series of 'Immortal Songs' since 2021, has thrilled viewers annually with spectacular performances by music industry veterans and newcomers. This year's '2026 Oh My Star' promises an unprecedented lineup and dazzling performances, heightening expectations.
The lineup includes 'Legend Meets Trend' Kim Kwang-jin X WOODZ, 'Rock Representatives' Seo Moon-tak X KARDI, 'Ballad Powerhouses' Lyn X Jo Jae-joo, 'High Note Invincibles' Lim Han-byul X HYNN, 'Idol Lineage Combo' Jang Dong-woo X Serim & Taeyoung (CRAVITY), 'Legendary Vocalist' Kim Young-im X Shin Seung-tae, 'Ultimate Vocalists' Jeong Seung-hwan X Jongho (ATEEZ), 'Performance Masters' Aiki X Rihei, 'Intense Actor Duet' Park Jin-joo X Min Kyung-ah, and 'R&B Duo' Han Moon-chul (Hanhae X Moon Se-yoon), totaling 10 teams.
WOODZ, who captivated audiences with his 'Drowning' performance during the '2024 Armed Forces Day Special', returns to 'Immortal Songs' for this special. His previously released performance video garnered an impressive 26.32 million views. WOODZ will perform alongside legendary artist Kim Kwang-jin, further piquing curiosity.
The genre-diverse lineup includes Kim Kwang-jin X WOODZ performing Park Sang-tae's 'If You Are Like Me', Seo Moon-tak X KARDI with Spring Summer Fall Winter's 'Someone's Dream', Lyn X Jo Jae-joo with Lee So-ra's 'The Wind Blows', Lim Han-byul X HYNN with Kim Bum-soo's 'Last Love', and Jang Dong-woo X Serim & Taeyoung (CRAVITY) with GD X TAEYANG's 'GOOD BOY', offering unique duet performances.
Additionally, Kim Young-im X Shin Seung-tae will perform Baek Seol-hee's 'Spring Days Are Gone', Jeong Seung-hwan X Jongho (ATEEZ) with IU's 'Child and My Sea', Aiki X Rihei with Kim Wan-sun's 'The Pierrot Laughs at Us', Park Jin-joo X Min Kyung-ah with WOODZ's 'Drowning', and Han Moon-chul (Hanhae X Moon Se-yoon) with Rich's 'I Love You, That's All...', promising unexpected and bold performances.
'Immortal Songs' 6-year MC Lee Chan-won expressed amazement at the formidable lineup, saying, "I was shocked when I saw the lineup. I couldn't close my mouth." MC Kim Jun-hyun exclaimed, "This is a lineup worthy of a grand finale. Are these people really duetting together?" and added, "Wow! It's a festival!", heating up the atmosphere even before the show starts.
