Controversy and Confessions Stir Drama on 'Cohabitation Blind Date'

As allegations of infidelity surface among the cast of 'Cohabitation Blind Date', Kim Hyun-jin makes a bold move with a heartfelt confession to Kim Hyun-jun, just a day before the final selection.

'Cohabitation Blind Date' is a reality dating show where 10 single men and women, along with their mothers who wish to see them married, live together for six days. The mothers get to witness their children's romantic endeavors firsthand. The show is hosted by Seo Jang-hoon, Lee Yo-won, and Kim Yo-han, who provide witty analysis and reactions that enhance viewer engagement. Seo Jang-hoon expressed his shock when Jo Eun-nae's interest in Seo Han-gyeol increased after he mentioned wanting to be a stay-at-home husband, stating, “I’ve seen a lot, but this is one of the most shocking things I’ve witnessed recently.”

In the upcoming episode airing on the 29th, the mothers, who had mysteriously disappeared, return just before the final selection, causing a major upheaval. Their sudden appearance turns the romantic dates into unexpected 'meet-the-parents' scenarios. Kim Myo-jin protests, “We should have been allowed to date, not have a blind date!” while Jo Eun-nae worries about her outfit, saying, “If I knew it was a meet-the-parents event, I wouldn’t have dressed like this.” The surprise meetings stir emotions among the participants and their mothers.

Meanwhile, 'Cohabitation Blind Date' faces controversy as a cast member is accused of being involved in an affair. A 40-year-old informant revealed on JTBC's 'Incident Chief' that she divorced her husband in 2002 due to his infidelity and won a lawsuit against the mistress. The court ordered her ex-husband and the mistress to pay 30 million won in damages, which she claims she has yet to receive.

The informant expressed her distress, saying, “Seeing her on the show as if nothing happened was shocking. I couldn’t sleep for days.”

The accused cast member responded on social media, stating, “I did not agree to any interviews or the release of my information. The broadcast was distorted and exaggerated. I have hired a law firm to review the legal validity of the matter.” She warned of legal action if the 'Incident Chief' does not remove the video.

Regarding the infidelity allegations, she stated, “The known details differ from what I know. Please wait for my explanation.” However, the production team removed her scenes from the third episode, only showing her briefly in wide shots or mentioning her by name.
