Mystic Declares Lee Sang-min's Home a 'Goblin Site' on KBS Joy's 'Ghost Story Note 2'

A mystic has declared that Lee Sang-min's residence is a 'Goblin Site.'

On the October 28th episode of KBS Joy's 'Ghost Story Note 2,' airing at 11:40 PM, the show delves into the myths surrounding house moves and renovations, exploring the chilling reality of 'house site ghost stories' that have altered people's destinies.

The episode features a real-life story of a couple who moved into a house priced below market value. The couple, who had long dreamed of a fresh start in a house with an attached restaurant, began to see success as the wife's culinary skills gained fame. However, the husband, who started helping at the restaurant, became increasingly suspicious and violent, suspecting his wife of infidelity.

In desperation, the wife consulted a mystic, who warned her that she saw the husband dying and advised her never to leave his side. Despite the warning, the wife left due to her husband's persistent doubts, only to find him dead at home days later.

The mystic later revealed a shocking truth: the house was a 'snake pit' where a serpent had long resided. The couple had angered the spirit of the site by moving in without paying respects. The wife's request led to the discovery of a snake under the restaurant counter, which was chased away, only to be seen heading towards the house, adding to the terror.

After her husband's death, the wife was plagued by nightmares and visions, eventually leaving the house and closing the restaurant. Despite the area's development increasing the property's value, the house has remained vacant for over a decade.

Upon hearing the ghost story, Lee Sang-min remarked, “The site of my current home seems to suit me well,” and added, “That's why I continue to stay there.” The mystic advised, “That site is a 'Goblin Site,' and you will gain wealth and good fortune. Do not move.” When Cho Chung-hyun expressed a desire to move there, the mystic cautioned, “Everyone has their own site.”

The mystic emphasized, “If a house site suits a person, wealth will come; if not, even the best house will bring misfortune,” highlighting that a house is more than just a space—it can determine one's fate.

Meanwhile, Lee Sang-min, who cleared a debt of 6.9 billion won from a past business failure, moved into a luxurious Yongsan apartment with a monthly rent of 5.6 million won and no deposit. He remarried a non-celebrity 10 years his junior last year, moving into a newlywed home in the same apartment complex. Recently, Lee Sang-min revealed that his current annual income exceeds 1 billion won.
