Yeonwoo takes on the role of an AI dating app CEO.
The new drama 'Lovephobia' is set to premiere on February 19 at 11 PM on U+ Mobile TV and Lifetime. It tells the story of Yoon Bia (played by Yeonwoo), the CEO of the 0% sensitivity AI matchmaking program 'It's You', and Han Sun-ho (played by Kim Hyun-jin), a romance novelist with 100% sensitivity, as they learn to understand each other and find love.
The script reading session was attended by the main cast of 'Lovephobia', including director Wang Hye-ryung and writer Lee Se-ryung. The cast features Yeonwoo (as Yoon Bia), Kim Hyun-jin (as Han Sun-ho), Jo Yoon-seo (as Seol Jae-hee), Choi Byung-chan (as Han Baek-ho), Lim Ji-eun (as Yang Sun-ae), Lee Ji-hae (as Song Ji-young), Kim Ki-nam (as Kim Kyung-tae), Han Kyu-min (as Kang San), Hwang Ha-jung (as Hong Joo-yeon), and Kim So-ha (as Shin Yoo-kyung). The actors showcased perfect synergy and immersed themselves passionately in their roles.
Yeonwoo, who plays the role of Yoon Bia, the AI dating app CEO, quickly immersed herself in the character, who has a tough exterior but a tender heart. After the script reading, Yeonwoo encouraged viewers to watch the transformation of Bia, emphasizing the journey of understanding true love.
Kim Hyun-jin portrayed Han Sun-ho, a romance novelist full of love. He seamlessly transitioned between a strong-willed persona and sweet charm, embodying the character fully. He highlighted the relationships between characters as a key point of interest, expressing his unique affection for the project.
Jo Yoon-seo, playing Bia's reliable partner and best friend Seol Jae-hee, added depth to the drama with her portrayal of a competent career woman. Choi Byung-chan, who played Han Sun-ho's twin brother and agency manager Han Baek-ho, brought laughter to the set with his unique, charming personality.
Supporting actors Lim Ji-eun, Lee Ji-hae, Kim Ki-nam, Han Kyu-min, Hwang Ha-jung, and Kim So-ha, with their vibrant energy, also joined the cast. With the actors' passionate performances, anticipation builds for how this unique love story, infused with AI elements, will unfold.
