On the 26th, Shinji took to Instagram to share a heartfelt handwritten letter, stating, "I am officially announcing the most important event of my life, my marriage." She continued, "Moon Won and I are planning to hold our wedding ceremony in May."
Shinji had previously announced her engagement to Moon Won, a ballad singer seven years her junior, in June of last year.
In her letter, Shinji expressed, "As we spent more time together, our bond grew stronger, and I am grateful to have someone who is entirely on my side. We have become more resilient and supportive of each other."
She added, "I am aware of the affectionate concerns and worries from many people. We will not forget them and will continue to move forward step by step, remaining consistent and unwavering."
