Min Hee-jin Consults U.S. Lawyer Amid Reverse Viral Marketing Allegations Against HYBE

Min Hee-jin, CEO of OK Records and former CEO of ADOR, has met with a U.S. lawyer regarding allegations of reverse viral marketing raised during her conflict with HYBE.

On the 19th, Min Hee-jin shared a photo on her social media, expressing gratitude for the "great advice" she received. She stated, "I met with a lawyer handling the TAG PR lawsuit in the U.S. while in Seoul. I was able to hear firsthand how American artists are responding to the reverse viral lawsuit involving TAG PR and received detailed and meaningful advice." She added, "Pieces are coming together, and I believe there will soon be stories I can share."

Previously, Min Hee-jin had suggested the possibility that TAG PR, a U.S. PR firm and subsidiary of HYBE, was involved in reverse viral marketing targeting her during her dispute with HYBE. In an interview, she mentioned, "Since the dispute began overseas, I felt something was off." She recalled receiving a message from a Billboard journalist saying, "I received a strange tip and wanted to verify it," and was surprised to learn it came from TAG PR. She also discovered through reports that her name was mentioned in a lawsuit involving a Hollywood actor.

In response, HYBE stated, "The matter is a legal dispute unrelated to HYBE or HYBE America, and the claims are one-sided from a party involved in the lawsuit. HYBE or HYBE America has not been involved in the issues stated in the lawsuit."
