In the upcoming third episode of MBC's Friday-Saturday drama 'Judge Lee Han Young,' airing on November 9 at 9:50 PM, Lee Han Young (played by Ji Sung) closely monitors the powerful judicial figure Kang Shin Jin (played by Park Hee-soon) and his right-hand man Kim Jin Han (played by Jung Hee-tae), heightening the tension.
In last week's episode, Lee Han Young sentenced Jang Tae Sik (played by Kim Beop-rae), who was protected by Kang Shin Jin, to a heavy penalty for slush fund creation and tax evasion. As a result, he was falsely accused of murder and attacked by Kang Shin Jin's men, leading to his death and a return to his past as a solo judge at the Chungnam District Court 10 years ago. Realizing the pain his wrongful judgments caused to victims, Lee Han Young resolves to pursue justice in his second chance at life.
The dramatic ending of episode 2, where Lee Han Young hits serial killer Kim Sang Jin (played by Bae In-hyuk) with a car, foreshadows his path as a righteous judge. The newly released stills on November 8 show Lee Han Young in a detective mode, watching someone intently, capturing viewers' attention.
Inside the car, Lee Han Young is seen staring outside with unwavering focus, determined not to miss a moment. His piercing gaze is fixed on Kang Shin Jin, the chief criminal judge at the Seoul Central District Court, and his right-hand man Kim Jin Han.
Before his return, Lee Han Young learned from his colleague Kim Yoon Hyuk (played by Jang Jae-ho) that Kang Shin Jin framed him for the murder of an executive at S Construction. Additionally, as he was losing consciousness after being stabbed by Kwak Soon Won (played by Park Geon-il), he witnessed that Kang Shin Jin orchestrated his death. Now back from the brink of death, Lee Han Young is expected to launch a meticulous surveillance and a full-scale counterattack against the corrupt forces.
