Shin Seul-gi continues her award-winning streak by securing the Best Supporting Actor award at the 'SBS Drama Awards', following her Rookie of the Year win at the 'KBS Drama Awards'.
The '2025 SBS Drama Awards' ceremony took place on December 31 at the SBS Prism Tower in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul. The event was hosted by broadcaster Shin Dong-yup, actors Chae Won-bin, and Heo Nam-joon.
Seo Beom-jun, who received the Best Supporting Actor award in the mini-series romantic comedy category for 'Uju Marry Me', expressed his gratitude, saying, "I received the Rookie of the Year award here last year. I wondered when I would stand here again, and I'm thankful for this opportunity." He also thanked his agency, saying, "I'm always grateful to my agency family who are always with me."
He added, "I still have a lot to learn. I will do my best every day and not lose my initial passion. My beloved family and fans are my driving force."
Shin Seul-gi, who also won the Best Supporting Actor award in the mini-series romantic comedy category for 'Uju Marry Me', shared her excitement, "I was nervous just being nominated, and I thought I would just congratulate others and leave. I'm so thankful for this award." She expressed her gratitude to her fellow actors and the 'Gwigung' team, adding, "This year has been challenging with extreme weather, and I want to share this honor with the production team. I will continue to work hard and not lose my initial passion."
On the same day, Shin Seul-gi also won the Rookie of the Year award at the 'KBS Drama Awards' for 'Please Take Care of the Eagle Five Brothers!'. Shin Seul-gi is known to be the daughter of a prominent plastic surgeon in Sinsa Station, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, with the clinic reportedly valued at 100 billion KRW. She gained recognition through her appearance on 'Single's Inferno 2' as Dex's romantic interest.
