On Chef Ahn Sung-jae's YouTube channel, 'Chef Ahn Sung-jae', a video titled 'Season 2 Black Spoons Invited Faster Than Anyone [Black and White Chef Season 2] Black Spoon Review First Release (with. Rebellious Genius, Three Star Killer, Chinese Witch, Fan Master)' was uploaded.
In the video, participants from 'Black and White Chef 2', including Three Star Killer, Fan Master, Chinese Witch, and Rebellious Genius, shared their honest thoughts on their experiences and evaluations after the show.
Previously, Ahn Sung-jae reflected on the pressure of selecting only 20 out of 80 participants during the first round of judging in a review with Season 1 participants Napoli Mafia and Cooking Dolai on his YouTube channel. He emphasized the high level of the participants and the careful consideration required.
The reunion with Three Star Killer, who previously worked at Ahn Sung-jae's restaurant 'Mosoo', was particularly noteworthy. Three Star Killer revealed that the reaction was so intense that they received calls from acquaintances after referring to Ahn Sung-jae as "this person" during a broadcast interview, which was unexpected praise.
Ahn Sung-jae humorously commented on the interview, saying, "I must have been out of my mind," and expressed surprise at Three Star Killer's different demeanor compared to their usual fear of him.
Additionally, Three Star Killer shared an anecdote about considering changing their nickname to 'Three Star Firefly' due to its dangerous connotation, but Ahn Sung-jae found the current name much better, eliciting laughter.
Other participants also shared how their lives have changed since appearing on the show. Fan Master expressed satisfaction with their TV appearance and the positive reactions from others, while Chinese Witch confidently responded to viewers' comments about their strong presence.
Ahn Sung-jae praised Chinese Witch's impressive demeanor but admitted that he still feels awkward seeing himself on screen. He resonated with Rebellious Genius's comment about the unfamiliarity of seeing himself cooking and shared the challenges he faced as a judge.
Ahn Sung-jae noted that the participants' ability to explain their culinary intentions had significantly improved, making the judging process more dynamic.
He stated that instead of setting high judging standards, he focused on accurately understanding the dish's completeness and intention, maintaining a cautious approach to avoid any misjudgments.
