Webtoon artist Kian84 is set to meet the legendary horror manga artist Junji Ito. Previously, in December, regular cast members Park Na-rae and SHINee's Key left the show 'I Live Alone' due to various controversies.

In the upcoming episode of MBC's 'I Live Alone' (directed by Heo Hang, Kang Ji-hee, Kim Jin-kyung, Moon Ki-young, and Jung Ji-woon), Kian84 embarks on a journey to Japan to meet the 'master of horror manga,' Junji Ito.

The preview of Kian84's meeting with Junji Ito left everyone surprised. Kian84 has previously mentioned Junji Ito as a significant influence on his dream of becoming a cartoonist, expressing admiration and respect by paying homage to him in his works. Last summer, Gangnam, who visited Kian84's home, promised to arrange a meeting with Junji Ito, sparking interest in whether this promise would be fulfilled.

Kian84 expressed his excitement, saying, "It's really happening. It feels like I'm in a dream," as he anticipated the meeting with Junji Ito, something he never imagined possible. The behind-the-scenes story of how this meeting came to be is drawing attention.

Upon arriving in Japan, Kian84 settled into his accommodation and organized the stories and questions he wanted to share with Junji Ito. Having recently started learning Japanese, he showed his dedication by saying, "I worked as hard as I do when running," upon hearing the news of the meeting.

Kian84 also immersed himself in creating artwork in front of a canvas. He prepared a special drawing as a gift, stating, "He is the one who showed me that being a cartoonist is a wonderful profession. He is like the universe." The anticipation builds around what his completed artwork will look like.

The episode will air on the 13th at 11:10 PM on MBC's 'I Live Alone.'
