Actor Park Hae-soo Opens Up About Limited Screen Time in Netflix's 'The Great Flood'
Actor Park Hae-soo shared his thoughts on his limited screen time.

On the 23rd, an interview with Park Hae-soo from Netflix's 'The Great Flood' was conducted at a cafe in Jongno-gu, Seoul. Park appeared in a black turtleneck and gray jacket, exuding a gentlemanly aura.

'The Great Flood' is an SF disaster blockbuster depicting the struggle of those clinging to humanity's last hope on the final day of Earth, submerged by a great flood. Park Hae-soo plays Hee-jo, a member of the personnel security team at the AI research lab where Anna works.

During the interview, Park candidly expressed his thoughts on having less screen time and Hee-jo's lack of a functional role. He explained, "Hee-jo has values opposite to Anna and poses questions to her. In fact, there were more scenes filmed, including battle scenes and moments where Hee-jo helps Anna when she's in danger."

He added, "At some point, the director called me. He was very apologetic and mentioned that my scenes might be cut. He explained that it was a part Anna had to overcome on her own, and I completely understood."

According to FlixPatrol, a global OTT platform ranking site, 'The Great Flood' has held the number one spot in Netflix's global film category for three consecutive days since its release on the 20th.
