Former speed skater Lee Kyu-hyuk recently opened up about his aspirations for his 8-month-old daughter.
On the 12th, the YouTube channel 'Dambi's Hand' released a video titled 'First Time in a Walker! The Biggest Dilemma for an 8-Month-Old: Dad vs. Mom, A Moment of Choice.'
In the video, Son Dam-bi expressed her amazement, saying, "Hae-i is already using a walker. She's only 8 months old, and she's starting to move on her own."
Son Dam-bi also updated fans on her parenting journey. After experiencing hair loss due to pregnancy and childbirth, she proudly shared, "My hair is growing back," drawing attention. She added, "On weekends, my husband takes care of Hae-i at night. We have a clear division of duties. Hae-i doesn't sleep through the night, waking up about twice, and I'm grateful for my husband's involvement."
However, there was a difference of opinion regarding their daughter's future. Lee Kyu-hyuk, who enjoys playing energetic games like hanging Hae-i upside down, remarked, "She loves spinning. What else could she do? Figure skating, where you spin in one direction. Maybe she likes it because of my genes." Son Dam-bi countered, "Don't decide her future so early."
Noticing that Hae-i's sleeves were too large, Son Dam-bi commented, "Her clothes are too big. My husband said not to buy clothes that fit perfectly, but to buy them larger. Clothes should fit well, but he's trying to save money here," she quipped. Despite this, she expressed admiration for her husband, saying, "He's the coolest when he's skating."
Meanwhile, Son Dam-bi and Lee Kyu-hyuk married in 2022 and have a daughter, Hae-i.
