Actor Hong Jong-hyun shares his thoughts as he bids farewell to 'Dear X'.
The TVING original series 'Dear X' captivated audiences with its gripping storyline until the very end, and Hong Jong-hyun's commanding presence drew significant attention. He transformed into the character Moon Do-hyuk, a man hiding dangerous instincts behind a gentle smile, showcasing a new side of himself.
Previously, Hong Jong-hyun was known for his strong performances in melodramas and romantic comedies, exuding charm with his boyish visuals, kind eyes, and bright smile, reminiscent of a large, friendly dog.
In 'Dear X', he impressed audiences with a 180-degree transformation. From his dark aura wrapped around his tall physique to his chilling expressions, he vividly portrayed a character with psychopathic tendencies, leaving viewers with goosebumps.
The intense chemistry between Hong Jong-hyun and co-star Kim Yoo-jung also garnered much attention. Their fiery performances created a palpable tension that kept viewers on the edge of their seats.
