On the 27th, ahead of the release of episodes 9-10, TVING's original series 'Dear X' unveiled still cuts showcasing contrasting fates: Baek Ah-jin (played by Kim Yoo-jung) finds a chance for a comeback, while Yoon Jun-seo (played by Kim Young-dae) and Kim Jae-oh (played by Kim Do-hoon) face unexpected crises.
In the previously released episodes 7-8, top star Baek Ah-jin faced a downfall. Hong Kyung-sook (played by Park Seung-tae) discovered Baek Ah-jin's intentional approach to use Heo In-gang (played by Hwang In-yeop), leading to an accident. Struggling with his grandmother's absence and his breakup with Baek Ah-jin, Heo In-gang met a tragic end. Seo Mi-ri (played by Kim Ji-young), fueled by anger and resentment towards Baek Ah-jin, vowed revenge.
However, the appearance of Moon Do-hyuk (played by Hong Jong-hyun) changes the game. In the newly released photos, Baek Ah-jin and Moon Do-hyuk share an intense proximity, exchanging subtle glances to hide their true intentions. The intertwining of Baek Ah-jin's relentless ambition and Moon Do-hyuk's dangerous obsession raises curiosity about the outcome.
Meanwhile, another photo contrasts Baek Ah-jin's glamorous comeback with Yoon Jun-seo and Kim Jae-oh, who are seen sitting on the asphalt in dusty clothes. Previously, Kim Jae-oh was threatened by a mysterious group following Baek Ah-jin, and the end of episode 8 showed Moon Do-hyuk receiving reports on Kim Jae-oh's actions. The identity of the person endangering them and who among the three men surrounding Baek Ah-jin will become her savior draws attention.
In episodes 9-10, Baek Ah-jin fiercely confronts Seo Mi-ri, who aims to bring her down. Yet, Baek Ah-jin plans a counterattack, and Moon Do-hyuk decides to support her new beginning. The teaser line "How high do you want to go?" from Moon Do-hyuk sparks anticipation for the changes it will bring to Baek Ah-jin's life.
