Sung Si-kyung, affectionately known as 'Jjanhan Hyung,' showed his loyalty despite personal challenges.
On the 24th, the YouTube channel 'Jjanhan Hyung Shin Dong-yup' featured Jo Se-ho and Nam Chang-hee, with singer Sung Si-kyung making a surprise guest appearance.
During the filming, Sung Si-kyung appeared and congratulated Jo Se-ho on his marriage, handing him an envelope with a wedding gift. He explained, "I couldn't attend the wedding due to a schedule in Ulsan. Don't open it; I put in just a little."
Shin Dong-yup shared the backstory of Sung Si-kyung's appearance, saying, "I was the MC at an event yesterday, and Si-kyung was the last performer. We had a drink together afterward, and he said he'd come if he had time."
When Jo Se-ho asked, "Did you have a drink today too?" Sung Si-kyung humorously replied, "I've been having a drink my whole life," adding, "I felt bad for missing the wedding, and I haven't had a chance to drink with Chang-hee. He's a really well-regarded friend. Se-ho, on the other hand, not so much. He's a bit opportunistic," causing laughter.
The 46-year-old bachelor Sung Si-kyung expressed envy, asking, "Where did you meet such a beautiful woman?" Jo Se-ho proudly shared, "When I first met my wife, I made a move, but she found it overwhelming, so we stayed as close friends. Later, we met again and became a couple."
Sung Si-kyung shared a humorous anecdote, "I had a fluorescent fly come into my house, and I liked it because I was lonely. I named it France. It showed itself for a week and then dried up and died," evoking sympathy.
During a discussion about the culture of seniors buying meals and drinks for juniors, Jo Se-ho jokingly asked junior Jung Ho-chul, "Are you paying today?" Jung Ho-chul expressed discomfort, saying, "I've never had that thought," while Sung Si-kyung advised, "Don't make juniors pay for drinks."
In response to Sung Si-kyung's remark, Jo Se-ho said, "I'll apologize with a drink. Hyung doesn't like juniors paying," to which Sung Si-kyung replied, "I've been treated by seniors so much, and I spend it on juniors," showing his generosity.
Jo Se-ho suggested, "Then should we split the bill equally today? It's right for you to pay today," to which Sung Si-kyung coolly agreed. At a second bar, Jo Se-ho gave Jung Ho-chul an allowance of 100,000 won, which Jung Ho-chul humorously noted was "ten times more than before," causing laughter.
Meanwhile, Sung Si-kyung has been dealing with a financial fraud case involving his former manager of over a decade. The manager allegedly embezzled VIP concert tickets and funneled the profits into his wife's account, amassing illicit gains worth millions.
