J.Y. Park is set to release his new digital single 'Happy Hour' along with the title track 'Happy Hour (퇴근길) (With Kwon Jin-ah)' on November 5.
On October 27, JYP Entertainment surprised fans by unveiling three teaser images reminiscent of movie stills on their official social media channels, announcing the release of J.Y. Park's new song 'Happy Hour (퇴근길) (With Kwon Jin-ah)'.
The song, which will be available on various music streaming platforms at 6 PM on November 5, marks the first collaboration between J.Y. Park, a veteran artist who has maintained his top position for over 30 years, and Kwon Jin-ah, a solo artist known for her unique musical style. Fans are eagerly anticipating the new chemistry and charm this collaboration will bring.
The teaser images have quickly captured the public's attention and sparked curiosity. They humorously depict the struggles of an office worker, with J.Y. Park seen dozing off against a partition in a drab office, and eyeing a colleague who receives praise while making instant coffee. Particularly intriguing is the scene where Kwon Jin-ah, transformed into J.Y. Park's boss, wields a magic wand as if giving a lecture, and the pink fairy wings attached to their shoulders, heightening interest in the song's concept.
Following last year's soulful and energetic track 'Easy Lover (아니라고 말해줘)', J.Y. Park's new song 'Happy Hour (퇴근길) (With Kwon Jin-ah)' is expected to become a staple on year-end commute playlists.
