'Handsome Guys' (directed by Ryu Ho-jin, Yoon In-ho, and Lee Seung-hwan) is a reality entertainment program that follows five seemingly perfect men as they navigate unexpected challenges in less-than-ideal environments.
In episode 46, the cast, including Cha Tae-hyun, Kim Dong-hyun, Lee Yi-kyung, Shin Seung-ho, and Oh Sang-wook, along with guest Jang Hyuk, engage in various games to overcome their 'lack of privacy.' One of the highlights is the signature game 'Ready Action,' where members draw a card with a number from 1 to 7 and act out a scenario with intensity proportional to the number. The judges then guess the intensity to win the game, leading to hilarious moments on set.
Kim Dong-hyun, who shows a special fondness for the game, reveals his unexpected acting debut. Reacting to the comment that there are four actors in the group, he proudly claims, "There are five actors. I've acted before and even appeared in a movie." He impresses everyone with his hyper-realistic portrayal of a 'demanding VIP customer at a department store,' earning praise from veteran actor Jang Hyuk for his detailed performance.
Cha Tae-hyun and Jang Hyuk deliver side-splitting performances in the game. Jang Hyuk, tasked with acting as a child begging for a toy, dramatically lies on the floor, clutching Cha Tae-hyun's pants in a passionate display. Cha Tae-hyun follows with a method acting performance, drawing from his experience as a father of three, leaving junior actor Shin Seung-ho in awe, stating, "I witnessed the acting of legends."
The 'Ready Action' game becomes even more challenging as the 'Handsome Guys' members are paired up, causing confusion during judging as one starts acting and the hand-tied partner naturally joins in. Cha Tae-hyun humorously warns, "Don't ad-lib! It's confusing."
Episode 46 of tvN's 'Handsome Guys' will air on the 23rd at 8:40 PM. After this episode, the show will take a break to regroup and return early next year. Meanwhile, 'Sixth Sense City Tour 2' will take over the time slot.
