On October 21, Jo took to Instagram to announce, "Thank you for the congratulations! I passed the Western Culinary Skills Certification!"
Jo expressed, "Preparing for this made me realize how incredible and noble the art of cooking is. The preparation was so challenging that I almost wanted to give up every night, and there were days when I cried," he admitted.
He confessed, "I often thought, 'No one even knows about this, so why did I start this and put myself through this hardship?'" However, he added, "Interestingly, what gave me courage during those times were the evenly sliced ingredients, the well-brewed broth, and perfectly cooked steak."
Jo also expressed his respect for not only famous chefs but all those who cook, extending his gratitude to the SBS 'Same Bed, Different Dreams' production team, his wife Jung Da-eun, and his daughter.
Born in 1976 and now 49 years old, Jo Woo-jong majored in Journalism and Broadcasting at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies and was selected as a KBS announcer in 2005.
