The American market is buzzing with excitement for the group CORTIS.
On October 15th, CORTIS will perform at the 'iHeartRadio LIVE with CORTIS' event at the iHeartRadio Theater in Los Angeles. This marks their first in-person performance in the U.S., on a stage that has hosted numerous global pop stars.
On the same day, CORTIS will also appear on Apple Music Radio. They are set to discuss their music with host Zane Lowe on 'The Zane Lowe Show,' a program that has recently featured artists like Taylor Swift and Tyler, The Creator.
Additionally, CORTIS attended the 'Red Bull Dance Your Style World Final' in Los Angeles on October 11th, where they mingled with renowned dancers such as WAACKXXXY, Kyoka, The Krown, and Majid. Their partnership with Red Bull, a first for a K-pop artist, has further amplified interest in the group.
On October 12th, CORTIS held a 'GO!' dance workshop in Los Angeles, where members taught choreography for an hour. The event, which was conducted through a lottery system, saw overwhelming participation and high competition. Throughout the session, participants sang along and cheered, and the members expressed their gratitude, saying, “It was meaningful to spend time together. Truly an honor.”
Meanwhile, CORTIS's debut album 'COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES' entered the Billboard 200 at number 15 on the chart dated September 27th, achieving the highest debut for a Korean boy group in the past four years. The album has also surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify as of October 12th, with the United States being the country with the most streams.
