Yoon Min-soo and Kim Min-ji have shared insights into the reasons behind their divorce.
On the October 12th episode of SBS's variety show 'My Little Old Boy', the former couple, who are living together post-divorce, were seen sorting out shared belongings and dividing their moving boxes.
During the episode, the two sat down for a meal together. Yoon Min-soo remarked, "It's been so long since we ate together. After finalizing the divorce papers and having gamjatang, it's probably been 10 years since we ate alone at home." Kim Min-ji added, "This is the first time we're sitting at this table together. We only sat here when we fought."
Yoon Min-soo commented on their differing tastes, "You always get fixated on what you like and eat it for days. I found that fascinating." Kim Min-ji responded, "I found it fascinating how you and Yoon Hoo always think about what you want to eat." Yoon Min-soo added, "That's why we went wrong. We have nothing in common. You love books, I don't. You cook, and I don't eat it."
Kim Min-ji countered, "You didn't eat what I made either, saying it wasn't to your taste." Yoon Min-soo replied, "It's not that I didn't eat it, I couldn't," taking a jab at Kim Min-ji's cooking skills.
Reflecting on the reality of their divorce, Kim Min-ji shared, "I felt it more than you did. I'm always at home. There's nothing good about being alone, but I don't have to wait for someone anymore. Waiting was really hard for me. Now, I feel free."
Yoon Min-soo admitted, "Most men probably think living in a big house and earning well is happiness. But after experiencing it, I realized it's not. Being together is much better."
