The series is highly anticipated as it is the latest work from Kim Eun-sook, a renowned writer known for her romantic comedies. The cast lineup, including Kim Woo-bin, Suzy, Ahn Eun-jin, Noh Sang-hyun, Ko Kyu-phil, and Lee Joo-young, is also drawing attention.

Ahn Eun-jin takes on the role of Mi-joo, a mysterious woman who moves to the rural village of Cheongpung for a six-month stay, delivering unpredictable episodes. Noh Sang-hyun plays Soo-hyun, a grim reaper and the suspicious landlord of Cheongpung village. Ko Kyu-phil, a master of comedic acting, portrays Jinny's assistant, Saeed, while Lee Joo-young adds energy to the story as Ga-young's only friend, Min-ji.
#2. A Unique 'Romantic Comedy' Protagonist: A Battle of Wishes Between a Genie and a Psychopath
Among the diverse characters in 'Genie, Make A Wish,' the meeting of 'Satan' Jinny and 'Psychopath' Ga-young is an unprecedented combination. Their precarious wish-making game, with Jinny unaware of worldly matters and Ga-young devoid of emotions, promises a story filled with excitement, laughter, and tenderness.
Kim Woo-bin shared, “If you ever meet Jinny, will you be able to avoid corruption? 'Genie, Make A Wish' will serve as a guide, so while watching, I hope you create your own perfect three wishes.”
Suzy, who decided to join the project after hearing about the character Ga-young, said, “The concept of an emotionless human was intriguing, and I felt I was portraying a captivating character not easily encountered. Watching Jinny struggle because of Ga-young, who lacks emotions but has excessive execution, is a highlight. Seeing Jinny in the modern world is adorable, and the fresh characters, including the villagers, offer many points of interest.”
