The Child Welfare Organization ChildFund Korea has announced that Park Ji-hyun, the younger brother of BTS member Jimin, has joined the 'Green Noble Club,' following in the footsteps of his father and Jimin himself.
Launched in 2017, the Green Noble Club is a leading network in South Korea for high-value donations, boasting a membership of 548 individuals.
Jimin became a member in 2021 after donating 100 million KRW to support young adults preparing for independence in Busan, assist families struggling due to COVID-19, and improve poor living conditions. In 2022, Jimin's father joined the club by supporting the talent development initiative 'I-LEADER(아이리더).'
This May, Park Ji-hyun, Jimin's brother, joined the club after completing his military service, marking the first time a father and two sons have become members together.
ChildFund Korea presented a plaque of appreciation to Jimin's father from Chairman Hwang Young-ki and another to Jimin from National Support Chairman Choi Bul-am. Chairman Hwang stated, "The positive influence of Jimin's family extends beyond simple donations, symbolizing the transmission of generosity across generations and the spread of fandom culture. Their warm contributions will have a tangible impact on the lives of children."
