K-Pop Star Hwasa Reveals Her Unique Fashion Sense from School Days

K-pop sensation Hwasa recently opened up about her distinctive fashion sense that dates back to her school days.

On March 31, the YouTube channel 'TEO 테오' released an episode titled '8-Year Idol Lyrics Investigation | EP. 133 TXT Soobin Yeonjun | Salon Drip.' The episode concluded with a teaser for the next episode featuring Hwasa as a guest.

In the teaser, the host of the web show 'Salon Drip,' Jang Do-yeon, asked Hwasa about her childhood. Hwasa revealed, "My fashion was colorful. I used to wear sunglasses that cost 1,000 to 2,000 won."

Hwasa further shocked the audience by sharing, "In the first year of middle school, I wore denim on denim with a garter belt." Jang Do-yeon expressed her surprise, saying, "I didn't even know what a garter belt was in middle school," highlighting Hwasa's unique fashion sense.

Hwasa admitted, "I wasn't the type to listen to my parents. I was quite a handful," adding, "If my mom told me not to do something, I wanted to do it even more. If she said no, I would ask why not." She also shared an anecdote where her mother once said, "I can't raise you, get out."

Previously, in October last year, Hwasa revealed that she had lost weight down to the 40kg range while promoting her song 'Good Goodbye.' Since then, she has been noted for her bold fashion choices. On March 28, she showcased her glamorous charm by wearing a lace top with a striking shirred dress.

Meanwhile, Hwasa heightened fans' anticipation by releasing a comeback teaser video on her agency P Nation's official SNS on March 31. She is set to return on April 9 with 'So Cute.'
