Travel Creator Wonji's April Fools' Prank: 13kg Weight Loss Revealed as a Joke

Travel creator Wonji has shared an update six months after sparking controversy over poor office conditions, claiming to have lost 13kg.

On the 1st, Wonji posted on her social media with the caption 'Breaking News: Lost 13kg, Crazy!' along with several photos. The photos show Wonji traveling around the world and enjoying various foods. In one scene, she humorously holds five burgers on a tray at a fast-food restaurant.

Fans were curious about Wonji's diet, raising expectations. However, a netizen commented, "Oh right, it's April Fools' Day," revealing the post as a joke. This led to amusing reactions online, such as "I was searching for where she lost 13kg," and "Almost lost her human touch." Wonji also engaged with fans, commenting, "(Losing 13kg) is wishful thinking," and "I haven't even lost 1kg yet."

Previously, in November last year, Wonji uploaded a video titled 'Found a 6-Pyeong Office' on her YouTube channel, revealing her office. She faced backlash for the poor office conditions, issued an apology statement and video, and temporarily halted activities. Disappointed subscribers canceled their subscriptions, breaking her 1 million subscriber milestone.

Meanwhile, Wonji announced her marriage in January last year. In February, she updated her social media, saying, "It's been a long time. I missed you all," and resumed her YouTube activities by releasing a Nepal travel video three months after the controversy.
