Ji Sung Returns to the Mound After 9 Years for Doosan Bears' Home Opener

Actor Ji Sung is set to return to the pitcher's mound after nine years.

Ji Sung will be the ceremonial first pitcher at the Doosan Bears' home opener at Jamsil Baseball Stadium on the 3rd. He previously made headlines in 2017 when he threw the first pitch at the opening game. At that time, he impressed the crowd with a powerful pitch and shared his heartfelt sentiment, saying, "Baseball is a dream for me. And like many of you, baseball is love."

Recently, Ji Sung starred as the titular character in MBC's 'Judge Lee Han-young,' which concluded in February. His irreplaceable acting skills and deep emotional engagement elevated the show's quality, capturing both high ratings and public interest.

Additionally, Ji Sung has confirmed his role in the upcoming JTBC drama 'Apartment.' The series follows a former gangster, Hae-gang, who runs for the head of the apartment residents' association to tackle corruption within the complex. Ji Sung will portray Hae-gang, showcasing yet another transformation in his acting career.
