According to the Korean Film Council's integrated computer network on the 29th, 'No Other Choice' attracted 1,073,650 viewers in its opening weekend. The film has maintained the number one spot at the box office for five consecutive days.
'No Other Choice' tells the story of 'Mansu' (played by Lee Byung-hun), a company employee who felt his life was complete, only to be suddenly laid off. The film follows his journey as he prepares for his own battle to protect his family and home, and to find new employment.
Notably, the film drew 330,000 viewers on its opening day, achieving the highest opening score among director Park Chan-wook's works. 'No Other Choice' is expected to captivate family audiences during the Chuseok holiday.
