On the 25th, Park Ji-hyun, who stars in the Netflix series 'You and Everything Else,' was interviewed at a café in Samcheong-dong, Seoul. The series follows the lives of Eun-jung (played by Kim Go-eun) and Sang-yeon, who are best friends and rivals. Park Ji-hyun plays the role of Cheon Sang-yeon.
When asked about her preparation for the role, Park Ji-hyun explained, "I had to portray my character in her 20s, 30s, and 40s, so I drew a lot of inspiration from people around me." She added, "I always try to study the people and elements around me when acting. I want to thank those around me because they helped me express the various facets of Sang-yeon."
Park Ji-hyun also spoke highly of her chemistry with Kim Gun-woo, who plays Kim Sang-hak in the series. She noted, "Many people only associate Gun-woo with his role as Son Myung-oh, but when I saw him, that character didn't come to mind at all." She continued, "He is very similar to Kim Sang-hak. In reality, he is a warm and gentle person. We joked around a lot during filming, and he was always receptive. He has a heart as vast as the Pacific Ocean," she said with a smile.
'You and Everything Else' was released in its entirety on Netflix on the 12th, featuring 15 episodes.
