Actress Ahn Ji-hye has expressed her gratitude as the KBS2 weekend mini-series and Disney+ show 'Twelve' comes to an end.
In the series, Ahn Ji-hye portrayed the character of Malsook, the 'Horse Angel,' known for her incredible speed and explosive power among the '12 Angels.' Her dynamic action scenes and nuanced emotional performances left a strong impression on viewers.
Particularly in episode 7, her duel with 'Yangmi' (the Sheep Angel) showcased her speed and impactful action, heightening the tension of the series. With her solid physical strength, natural athleticism, and character-driven expressions and movements, Malsook emerged as the 'hard-carry angel.'
Through her agency, Ahn Ji-hye shared, "The time spent on 'Twelve' was truly unforgettable for me. It was a journey made possible by the amazing senior actors, fellow cast members, and the best staff."
She continued, "I am grateful to directors Kang Dae-kyu, Han Yoon-sun, and stunt directors Heo Myung-haeng, Yoon Sung-min, and Yoo Mi-jin for their hard work in creating amazing scenes despite the cold weather. I also deeply appreciate the warm advice and support from Ma Dong-seok, Seo In-guk, Sung Dong-il, and Go Kyoo-pil."
Ahn Ji-hye also expressed her affection for her co-stars, saying, "I am thankful to my reliable colleagues Joobin, Mina, Yoobin, and Regina Ray, and to everyone who loved and supported 'Malsook.'"
Meanwhile, 'Twelve' experienced a decline in viewership ratings, starting at 8.1% for its first episode and dropping to 5.9%, 4.2%, 3.1%, and 2.6%, with the final episode reaching a low of 2.4%.
