Korean entertainer Kim Soo-yong, 58, revealed that he missed out on a significant fortune despite being a major shareholder of L Company.

During the show, Kim discussed his past involvement with L Company, stating, “I was a shareholder but exited before it became successful. I owned about 5% of the shares, which could have led to a huge windfall.” Based on current market values, his former stake is estimated to be worth hundreds of millions.

Although Kim claimed, “I am not greedy for wealth,” he humorously admitted to feeling “very sad” when co-host Kim Gura remarked, “You seem sad for missing out on a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.”

Kim, who has a high school freshman daughter, shared, “My daughter is past her rebellious phase. She resembles me about 70%, but fortunately, she doesn’t have dark circles.” He described her personality as “chic like me,” recounting a story where she sent a one-word text, “Arrived,” after her mother asked her to text when she got on the subway. Even when gifted a signed CD from ZeroBaseOne, her response was a simple “Thanks.”

Kim also expressed feeling left out, saying, “When my wife and daughter are talking and I approach, the conversation suddenly stops. I suspect they’re talking about her boyfriend.”
