On August 22, Stray Kids made their first comeback of 2025 with the release of their 4th studio album 'KARMA' and its title track 'CEREMONY'. The album sold over 2 million copies on its first day, according to Hanteo Chart, achieving double million-seller status. It also topped the weekly physical album chart on Hanteo (2025.08.18~08.24) and the weekly retail album chart on Circle Chart (2025.08.17~08.23).
From August 22 to 24, the album dominated the Worldwide and European iTunes Album Charts, and secured the number one spot on iTunes Album Charts in countries like Japan, France, and Australia. The title track 'CEREMONY' topped the Bugs real-time chart and iTunes Song Charts in Brazil and Thailand.
On Spotify, where Stray Kids recently became the first 4th generation K-pop group to reach 20 million followers, 'KARMA' set a new record for the most streams on the first day of a K-pop group's release in 2025, with over 18.26 million streams. This surpassed their previous record set by their 2023 album '★★★★★ (5-STAR)'. The title track 'CEREMONY' debuted at number 27 on Spotify's Global Daily Top Songs chart and reached a personal best of number 49 in the US with over 2.52 million streams on August 22.
The music video for 'CEREMONY' topped the Worldwide Trending Music Videos chart on August 22 and maintained its position for four consecutive days, surpassing 20 million views on YouTube. Stray Kids showcased their performance of 'CEREMONY' on various music shows, including KBS 2TV's 'Music Bank' on August 22, MBC's 'Show! Music Core' on August 23, and SBS's 'Inkigayo' on August 24.
