The group TWS is making waves this year with their dynamic activities. They have announced their comeback in October and will also be performing at the 'ATA Festival 2025', the largest K-pop festival in Korea, as well as Japan's 'ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL 2025'. Their participation in major festivals both domestically and internationally is seen as a move to expand their fanbase.
TWS recently concluded their '2025 TWS TOUR '24/7:WITH:US' in Japan with a final performance at the K-Arena Yokohama in Kanagawa Prefecture on September 9-10. During their Japan tour last month, they performed 13 shows across six cities, attracting around 50,000 fans and selling out all tickets.
At the September 10 concert, TWS expressed their joy, saying, "We are thrilled to hold a solo concert in such a large venue. This was made possible because of our fans, 42, who love us for who we are." They added, "We hope this moment remains a brilliant memory of our youth that can provide strength during tough times."
Leader Shin Yoo surprised fans by announcing, "TWS will make a comeback in October."
On August 2, TWS officially began their activities in Japan with their debut single 'Nice to see you again', which received a positive response for its refreshing vibe. The single topped both the Oricon and Billboard Japan charts, achieving a quadruple crown. It sold over 100,000 copies, earning a Gold Disc certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan.
TWS gained significant attention with their domestic debut song 'First Meeting Doesn't Go as Planned', released on January 22 last year. The song reached No. 2 on Melon's TOP100 chart and topped the '2024 Annual Melon Chart', marking the first time in 14 years a debut song achieved this feat. It was also the first time in six years a male idol group's song topped the chart since iKON's 'Love Scenario' in 2018.
TWS has consistently showcased bright and refreshing concepts with songs like 'Isn't It Cool to Follow Your Heart?', 'If I'm S, Be My N', and their latest release 'Kiss Kiss Shy Shy' on August 29.
TWS will perform at the global music festival 'ATA Festival 2025' at Nanji Hangang Park on September 27-28. They will take the stage on the second day (September 28) alongside artists like Kim Jaejoong, The Boyz, Cravity, QWER, Fifty Fifty, 82Major, Eunice, Bad Villain, and New Beat. The first day (September 27) will feature performances by Kim Junsu, Jannabi, Peppertones, Lee Mujin, 10cm, Park Hye-won, Kyungseo, H1-KEY, Say My Name, and Hwang Garam.
