On the 8th, the Community Chest of Korea, known as the 'Fruit of Love', announced S.COUPS' generous donation. In celebration of his birthday, S.COUPS donated 50 million KRW to support children from low-income families.
With this donation, S.COUPS became the 3,710th member of the Honor Society, a group of high-value donors who have contributed over 100 million KRW or pledged to do so within five years.
The donation will be used to cover meal expenses for children at risk of hunger during the summer break. It will be distributed through local children's centers nationwide to support the healthy growth of children from vulnerable backgrounds.
S.COUPS expressed, "Thanks to the love from my fans, my birthday each year is remembered as a special day. I wanted to give back to society in gratitude for the love I've received," adding, "I support the healthy growth of all children and youth."
S.COUPS has consistently engaged in charitable activities, including supporting animal shelters and rescue organizations, and donating to wildfire relief efforts in Ulsan, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam last March, spreading warmth and positive influence.
Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN is set to kick off their 'SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [NEW_]' at the Incheon Asiad Main Stadium on September 13th and 14th. The tour will continue in five North American cities in October and four major domes in Japan from November to December.
